Hetal Vasavada is a San Francisco-based cookbook author and blogger at Milk and Cardamom. She is a former MasterChef contestant and her recipes have been featured in the New York Times, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine Magazine, and The Kitchn. Her cookbook was named one of the best cookbooks of 2019 by the San Francisco Chronicle and The Washington Post. In addition, she owns an online bakery called Milk and Cardamom Sweets.
Leslie Antonoff is a triple-threat; writer, television host, and entrepreneur, who is setting the world on fire with her gift of gab, wit, and business acumen. An alumna of Howard University, Leslie prides herself on representing Black people with an unrelenting fierceness. Combined with her desire to create media that represents this and her on-camera presence, she is unstoppable. As host, creator, and executive producer of the culinary series, Butter + BROWN, on ASPIRE TV she & her co-host are bringing some much needed flavor to the food space. Look for her on HGTV in 2021 on her new show, Divide & Design, taking her creativity to new heights in a design series with her sister.
Founded by partners, Sara Elise & Amber Chanel, Apogeo Collective is a bed & breakfast safe-haven for travelers of color, LGBTQIA+ travelers, and our allies. It is a collection of bed & breakfast pop-up experiences, with the inaugural experience offered in Winter 2020 in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Apogeo serves as both an homage to Gioconda Belli- a Nicaraguan feminist poet, activist and author of the namesake collection of poems- as well as the culmination & meeting point of the founders’ individual work. With this collective, the aim is to create open space for our guests to tap into apotheoses within themselves.
